Caloocan City hospital offers free medical services for founding anniversary

MANILA, — The Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) is celebrating its 59th Founding Anniversary by providing free medical and laboratory services to residents throughout the week. This initiative aims to promote health and well-being in the community.

The CCMC will offer a range of services, including free Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) tests, ophthalmology services, electrocardiograms (ECG), pap smears, and minor surgeries. Additionally, attendees can receive free reading glasses, snacks, and vitamins as part of the celebration.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan expressed his gratitude to the CCMC for its decades-long commitment to delivering quality health services to Caloocan residents. He encouraged constituents to take part in the anniversary activities and benefit from the services provided.

(Congratulations to all who make up CCMC for their 59th Anniversary! Together with all the Batang Kankaloo, we thank you all for the decade of helping the city government to provide free and quality health services.)

He further urged residents to take advantage of the activities and services offered during the celebration, emphasizing the importance of health for families.

(To all the Batang Kankaloo, let’s take advantage of the activities and services provided by CCMC to focus more on the health of you and your family.)

Mayor Along also highlighted his administration’s commitment to prioritizing the medical needs of the public while ensuring the welfare of city health workers.

(We never only focus on the welfare of our countrymen when it comes to health. I am aware of the contribution of our doctors, nurses, and other health workers to our programs, so we will continue to ensure that they receive proper recognition and adequate benefits for all that they do.)

The CCMC’s week-long celebration is not only a testament to its dedication to community health but also an opportunity for residents to engage with health services that can improve their well-being. (JCO/PIA-NCR)
