QUEZON CITY, — The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) received the prestigious “Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair Special Award” for its outstanding contributions and achievements as a pioneer agency in the “Bagong Pilipinas” (New Philippines) service initiative.

Postmaster General and CEO Luis D. Carlos accepted the award on behalf of PHLPost at a ceremony held on August 19, 2024, at the PICC Forum Tent in Pasay City.
The award was presented by Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, who leads the “Bagong Pilipinas” program, which aims to bring government services closer to the people, enhancing efficiency and accessibility.
“We believe that bringing government services closer to the people is essential in improving government efficiency and accessibility,” Postmaster General Carlos said.
PHLPost’s dedication and exemplary performance in supporting the initiative have significantly contributed to its success and the well-being of Filipino citizens.
The awarding ceremony was part of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair Agency Summit 2024, an initiative of the National Secretariat focused on strengthening inter-agency convergence and collaboration for sustainable national development.
