New 3-storey health center building opens in Tondo, Manila

MANILA โ€” The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a 3-storey health center in Tondo, Manila, bolstering public health services in the area.

Located at Molave Street, Barangay 228, Zone 1, the Tayabas Health Center was completed through the efforts of the DPWH North Manila District Engineering Office. This facility aims to provide accessible healthcare to residents.

The health center boasts 18 rooms, including minor surgical, treatment, consultation, and dental rooms, as well as facilities for X-ray, ECG, and ultrasound procedures.

The DPWH partnered with the Department of Health to ensure the centerโ€™s equipment and services meet the communityโ€™s medical needs.

โ€œThis facility will greatly benefit the residents in the area, providing them with quality healthcare services right in their own backyard,โ€ said DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluan in her report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan. (DPWH)
