KBL Refutes Media Reports, Confirms No Endorsement for Senate Aspirants Relly Jose Jr. and Richard Nicolas

The Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) has issued an official statement to address recent reports regarding its alleged endorsement of senatorial candidates for the 2025 Local and National Elections. In a formal announcement dated October 5, 2024, the party clarified that no Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA) has been issued for Mr. Relly Jose Jr. and Mr. Richard Nicolas, contrary to circulating media reports.

This clarification follows claims by ABS-CBN and social media outlets suggesting that both Jose Jr. and Nicolas had filed their Certificates of Candidacy (COC) under KBL. These reports have led to public confusion, prompting the party to set the record straight.

Under the leadership of National President Hon. Efren A. Rafanan Sr., KBL reiterated that only Rafanan, Hon. Crisiliefv G. Garrido, and Hon. Joeme N. Erroba are authorized to sign and issue official CONAs. The party confirmed that neither Mr. Relly Jose Jr. nor Mr. Richard Nicolas is endorsed by KBL for any elective position in the upcoming elections, including the Senate.

KBL emphasized that official announcements regarding its candidates will be made only through formal and verified channels. The party called on the public to disregard inaccurate reports and rely solely on its authorized communication platforms for election-related updates.

The statement highlights the partyโ€™s commitment to its principles of governance and the importance of transparency as the 2025 elections draw near. KBL also stressed the need for responsible journalism, urging media outlets to verify information before publication to avoid further confusion among voters.

For any clarifications, KBL encourages the public to stay updated through official communication platforms, ensuring that all candidate endorsements and party-related announcements come directly from its leadership.

This move underscores KBLโ€™s dedication to maintaining clarity and accuracy in its public communications, especially in the lead-up to the national elections.
