International Cruise Vessel MV AIDAstella Makes Official Port of Call in Boracay Island

BORACAY ISLAND, AKLAN – The international cruise ship MV AIDAstella, operated under Costa Cruise Lines, arrived at the waters of Boracay Island on 13 January 2025, carrying approximately 3,300 passengers and crew members.

Marking the formal welcome of the vessel, an Exchange of Plaque Ceremony was conducted onboard. Senior representatives from the Provincial Government of Aklan and the Local Government Unit of Malay boarded the ship to extend official greetings, acknowledge the visit, and exchange commemorative tokens signifying mutual partnership and warm hospitality.

To ensure the safety, order, and seamless experience of all guests and crew, inter-agency security and operational teams were pre-positioned and deployed across designated arrival points and service areas.
