MANILA β The Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI) proudly announces the appointment of Nelson S. Santos as its new Chairman and Director for Media Affairs.
Mr. Santos brings with him a decade of proven leadership and dedication to the media industry, having served as PAPI President for three consecutive terms from 2015 to 2025. His appointment marks a new chapter for the organization as it strengthens its commitment to press freedom, responsible journalism, and proactive engagement with both public and private sectors.
As Chairman and Director for Media Affairs, Mr. Santos will lead PAPIβs strategic communication initiatives, oversee national media relations, and serve as the principal spokesperson on matters of public interest. He will also play a key role in guiding the organizationβs advocacy efforts, media partnerships, and nationwide programs supporting community newspapers and local journalists.
